Next year there will be over 200 teaching opportunities available for volunteers through a program called ITF (Israel Teaching Fellows). The program began this year as a pilot, and has currently placed over 65 Jewish teacher’s assistants from the United States.
This program was developed and launched through Masa Israel Journey, along with The Ministry Of Education in Israel. Masa helps new college graduates and college students (ages 18 to 30), who reside in North America, find academic opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and mid-length internships (5 to 12 months).
Israel Teaching Fellows has received an abundance of applications from new graduates in the United States. These high quality graduates are looking for teaching experiences abroad in place of starting an immediate career in the US. With the declining economy in North America, many graduates desire teaching and serving opportunities that are partnered with abroad experiences.
Come Experience Our Culture

There are many wonderful internship, teaching, and serving experiences available in Israel. Israel is full of history, culture, and religious diversity. The ITF program is primarily focused on Jewish graduates placed in Israel. However, there are also great opportunities for Christians, Muslims, and people of diverse cultures and religions. English as a second language instructors are in high demand in many different cities throughout Israel.
Israel is a magnificent place to visit or to relocate. Whether you plan to come to Israel for a week, a season, a year, or long term; we would love to set up a tour that meets your needs.
