Taybeh is located on the West Bank, less than 10 miles northeast of Ramallah and about 20 miles north of Jerusalem. Taybeh is the last completely Christian community on the West Bank and the population is about 1,500.

Biblical history expresses that Jesus and His disciples retired to this town after Jesus resurrected Lazarus. This is believed to be the area where Jesus spent 40 days fasting, praying and resisting temptation to prepare Himself and His Disciples for His sacrifice.

There are several historic and cultural tourist attractions in Taybeh. Two of the most popular attractions in Taybeh include the ruins of St. George Church and the Taybeh Brewery.
