Sinai One Day Tour
We will be traveling from Eilat through Sinai and the Red Sea to St. Catherine’s Monastery. We will be leaving at about 5:30am and driving to the Taba border. We will then cross the border into Egypt to enjoy the phenomenal and magnificent Sinai desert. You will be amazed at the awesome blue waters of the Red Sea. You will be astonished by the varying hues and formations of the desert mountains. Sinai is a triangular piece of land inhabited by the nomadic people of the desert. The Bedouin people of Sinai still live as people lived thousands of years ago. We will visit the oldest existing active monastery in the world where the monks are actively doing their daily chores. Next, we will visit the chamber of skulls. Then we will visit the site of the burning bush. We will enjoy a delicious local lunch and then go to see the rock of inscriptions. You will then have an opportunity to take a swim in the beautiful and clear waters of the Red Sea, if weather permits. We will then head back to Eilat.

Sinai is more beautiful than I ever imagined. It truly is one of the amazing wonders of the world. It is a site to behold. I enjoyed each and every part of the journey from the mountains, to the desert, to the ocean. We stopped for lunch and the local food was amazing.
