Jericho and the Dead Sea

Jericho2

We will start by driving through the Samaritan Inn and into to the City of Jericho, which is the oldest city in the world. We will then visit Tal el Sultan and Elisha’s Fountain. Next, we will take the cable car up to the Mount of Temptation. We will visit the archeological wonder of Hisham’s Palace. This is home to some of the greatest mosaic pieces in the Middle East. We will then enjoy a delicious local lunch. We will then drive to Qumran, which is where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. We will then go to Ein Gedi Beach where you can take a swim in the salty waters of the Dead Sea. We will have a bit of time at the beach for some rest and relaxation. We will then head back to drop you off at your hotel.

The Dead Sea was amazing. Of all the places we visited in the Holy Land I really enjoyed visiting the Dead Sea and bathing in the waters! If you are traveling to this area, the Dead Sea experience is one you will not forget!
